Insurance Disclosure
Effective: January 1, 2026
This Disclosure summarizes how insurance is treated on the Jobono marketplace, operated by Nexoria Enterprise DBA Jobono. Jobono is not an insurance company and does not provide insurance to users.
1. No Payroll-Style Deductions
Contractor payouts are not reduced by employee-style payroll deductions. Workers' compensation premiums, unemployment insurance, and similar employer-side programs are not deducted from contractor payouts.
2. Platform Fees
Platform service fees paid by client businesses may include administrative costs, technology costs, insurance-related costs (such as coverage maintained by Jobono for its own operations), compliance support, payment processing, and other operating expenses.
3. Contractor Insurance
Independent contractors are responsible for maintaining insurance appropriate to the services they perform, except where coverage is required to be provided by the client business or by law.
4. Client Insurance
Client businesses are responsible for maintaining insurance appropriate to their business and worksite, including any coverage required by law for the work performed at their location.
5. Coverage Types to Consider
Depending on the nature of the work, parties may want to consult an insurance broker about occupational accident coverage for independent contractors, general liability, cyber liability, errors and omissions, workers' compensation where required, and staffing or marketplace coverage.
6. Not Insurance Advice
This Disclosure is informational only and does not constitute insurance advice. For coverage questions, consult a licensed insurance professional. Other questions can be sent through our contact page.
