Compliance

Effective: January 1, 2026

Jobono, a DBA of Nexoria Enterprise, takes compliance seriously across labor, data protection, identity, and responsible use of AI. This page summarizes the standards we hold ourselves and our users to.

1. Worker Classification

Jobono is a technology platform connecting Employers with independent Workers. Employers are responsible for properly classifying the workers they engage in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws, and for handling related tax and reporting obligations.

2. Identity & Verification

  • Phone number verification via one-time SMS code.
  • Government-issued ID and selfie upload to confirm identity.
  • Self-reported skills checklist disclosed to Employers.
  • Verification documents are stored in a private, encrypted bucket and are visible only to Employers of shifts you have applied to.

3. Equal Opportunity & Anti-Discrimination

Employers using Jobono must not discriminate against Workers on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Jobono may suspend accounts that violate this principle.

4. Responsible AI

Jobono uses AI to help Employers evaluate applicants by generating fit scores and short summaries based on the job description and applicant profile. AI outputs are advisory only — Employers are responsible for their own hiring decisions and for ensuring those decisions comply with applicable employment laws. We review and tune our AI prompts to reduce bias and to keep summaries focused on job-relevant factors.

5. Data Protection & Security

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Row-level access controls in the database, so users only see data they're entitled to.
  • Verification documents stored in private cloud storage with signed access.
  • Principle of least privilege for internal access to production data.

6. Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how to exercise those rights.

7. Trust & Safety

We investigate reports of fraud, harassment, no-shows, unsafe working conditions, or wage disputes. To report an issue, contact us through the channels below. Serious violations may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Reporting & Contact
